In a fairly short time, Kristen Proby has cemented her place in romance fiction as a go-to author for consistently great, heart-felt and heart-warming stories. Her books feel like kindred spirits to Nora Roberts' series - featuring likable groups of people interconnected somehow, but still with their own unique stories to tell. As the start of the Fusion series, Listen to Me is the story of restaurateur Addison and former rock-star Jake. Addie tries to resist her attraction to Jake, but his persistence pays off. While not the most exciting or memorable stories from Ms. Proby, it was one of my favorites - fun and light, with a wonderful basis to lead up the rest of the books featuring the ladies of Seduction.
