Mini-Review: Time Out by Jill Shalvis
Time Out

Published: Harlequin Blaze, February 19, 2012
224 pp.
A quick, sexy read. Very typical and predictable format of alpha male jock not looking for anything serious until he finds "the one." The characters do have depth and are interesting, but the scenes become repetitive, almost as if Shalvis was just trying to fill pages with something. This just made the climax, which is abrupt and unfinished feel even more stilted. But, overall, it was a short book that could have been 20-30 pages shorter and still be appealing.
Time Out: 3/5
