Book
Blurb:
Cela knows
how to be good. She’s had a lifetime of practice. But on the night of her
college graduation, she decides she’s earned one wild night before she has to
move back home to her overprotective family. So when the hot neighbor she’s
been quietly fantasizing about for a year suggests a game of Never Have I Ever,
she’s ready. But what starts out as a simple game takes an unexpected turn.
Because Ian Foster doesn’t play games he can’t win.
Foster knows
his desires aren’t for the faint of heart, especially not for someone as sweet
and innocent as his pretty neighbor. But when Cela shows up at his door with an
invitation that surprises him, he can’t resist indulging. Cela has no idea what
she’s in for. The secret dark side of this man’s need will both intrigue and
terrify her. But Cela has a secret of her own—and a new game to see just how
far they’re both willing to go, and how much they’re willing to risk by
crossing every boundary of desire.

Laura's Review:
Who knew a game of "Never have I ever...?" could be quite so sexy?!
Marcela "Cela" has done everything in her life as expected and she and her family have planned for that to continue now that she's officially graduated. But, she feels like there could be more out there for her, if she only had the courage to reach out and take it. That courage comes in the form of a bottle of tequila and a very sexy neighbor who has had a role in more than a few of Cela's naughty fantasies. Little does she know, her neighbor has been paying a lot more attention to her than she thinks and is more than ready to show her just how much fun it can be to try something different.
Although Cela was the more "innocent" one in this relationship - Foster was, in my opinion, the more vulnerable of the two. It was so sweet to watch this big, strong alpha dom be so uncertain and worried he would do something wrong.
The alternating perspective - first person for Cela's and then third person for Foster's sections - was odd. It was very distracting and if the story was any less strong, I think it would have pulled me out. It's a testament to Ms. Loren's ability to pull me into her world that I forgot how weird it was by the end.
I guess this book was first published as a series of novellas, but I'm glad I got to read them all at once, because I cannot imagine having to wait for each next part. As it was, I didn't want to go to bed or work - let alone wait weeks or months! I haven't read the other books that came first in this series and it stood alone just fine, but I'm certainly going to go read them now - and I can't wait to see what she has in store for Pike!
Not Until You: 4/5 stars
