Laura's Review: 

I had read a couple of the previous Weekly Brides books, and reading this one just reaffirmed that I need to go back and finish the whole series. While the plot lines of her stories might not be completely original, Catherine Bybee makes up for it with complex and likable characters that don't always do what you expect them to. I had an intense dislike for Hunter as soon as we meet him, but despite the more than slight underhandedness in getting what he wants, his protective nature and other redeeming qualities quickly shone through that arrogant exterior. The chemistry between Hunter and Gabi was combustible right from the start and I loved watching them negotiate around it. Gabi is a strong heroine, more than evenly matched to Hunter, but I found her past to not quite fit up with who she is today and had trouble reconciling the two. There were a lot of cameo appearances of previous book couples that, for me, was a bit distracting and didn't always add to the story, but I understood why she wanted to give loyal readers glimpses of those beloved characters. 

A great end to a fantastic series.
