I first have to say I was majorly distracted by the character name of Penelope Pope. Every time her full name was mentioned all I could think of was the movie Someone Like You where Marisa Tomei is lamenting about her boyfriend cheating on her with Penelope Pope. But, luckily, she isn't referred to by her full name all that often, so I was able to move on. I guess we have to run out of character names at some point??
Anyway, I thoroughly loved this book just as I've come to expect when reading a new book by Lauren Layne. Every one feels like I could be watching it on the big screen as a romantic comedy. While this one felt just a little tiny bit low in the chemistry department compared, I still enjoyed watching Cole and Penelope's relationship develop.
I can't wait to see what Ms. Layne has in store for the rest of the Oxford men!
