Synopsis
“I will do anything to make her MINE.” —Remington Tate

In the international bestseller
REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls
MINE.
Review

This was definitely among the top of my anticipated books of the year pile, and I was super excited to get my hands on it. Maybe that anticipation lead to impossibly high expectations, but while I enjoyed this book, I just didn't love it as much as I did REAL. The passion and chemistry was certainly still there between Remy and Brooke (they spent more of this book having passionate sex than anything else). Remy is as hot and loveable as ever (and let's face it, he's the main reason we're here reading this, right?). But, Brooke...well, I wasn't her biggest fan in MINE. She just was a little clingier and needier than I like my heroines to be. Don't get me wrong, fans of REAL are still going to pick up this book and drool over it and Remy (as they very well should), but I thought it fell just a bit short of the greatness that I know Katy Evans can accomplish. MINE: 3.5/5 stars
