Review Tour & Giveaway: Infinite Possibilities by Lisa Renee Jones

Synopsis

Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. And then he’d made her doubt that trust, cutting her deeply. But as she’d once told him, she was damaged, not broken. She is ready to fight and not just for survival. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him

Excerpt:

His finger touches my cheek, then caresses slowly downward to my neck, and I feel the barely there touch everywhere, inside and out. Goosebumps lift on my skin, and I, and embarrassingly, I almost moan when he drags his finger over my breast and nipple. He drops his hand and I shiver with the delicate teasing sensations that linger where he’s touched, where he has not touched. He leans in closer, careful not to press his body to mine when that is exactly what I burn for, then lightly, so very lightly, brushes his lips over mine. A breath later, he is gone, leaving me gasping as he disappears behind me and it is all I can do not to turn to watch him.
Review:

I loved book one in this series so much and was so upset with the non-ending that I've been eagerly anticipating this book for months. There may have been some begging and demands for Ms. Jones to write faster. I jumped right in as soon as I got it and spent every available minute of the next 2 days reading - I may have even snuck in some at work. Everything that made me fall in love with Escaping Reality was here - just as good as it had been. We get a lot of answers to all those questions raised in the first book, and of course, as to be expected in any LRJ book, a ton of romance and steamy sex. The fact that I was not ready to say goodbye to these characters makes up for the fact that Ms. Jones sort of lied when she said this would just be a two book series. There really isn't a cliffhanger here, but there are certainly loose ends that haven't been tied up. So, since I'm so looking forward to the next installment, I'll forgive her this once.

Infinite Possibilities: 4.5/5 stars

  6. I am a huge fan of cover art and it's usually why I pick up a book to read the blurb. The cover of Infinite Possibilities is gorgeous, and it sounds like a great heart-broken-survival story!
