Review:
Tia Louise doesn't waste any time jumping right into the story on this one. Very little background info is given from the start, we just get little pieces as we go. And you know what? I really liked it that way. Melissa Jones is on a spa vacation with her best friend when she spots sexy ex-Marine across the bar. She notices him immediately and to her surprise, he notices her right back. They immediately agree to a sex-cation of sorts - no strings attached fun for the week they are together. And since this is a romance novel, those no strings rules don't exactly work out so well, but they part ways at the end nonetheless. And I'm pleasantly surprised to say I was actually surprised at the ending. I was so engrossed in the book, I just did not see this particular twist coming. What started out as a somewhat generic, yet super-sexy read turned into a great romance novel! And it is a stand-alone - which seems so rare now, it makes me that much happier to have read it! :)
